Ingredients

1/4 cup popcorn

2 teaspoons olive oil

1/4 teaspoon popcorn salt* or kosher salt

Sprinkle Chile Powder (Ancho, Chipotle, New Mexican, Jalapeno, Cayenne)

Paper lunch bag

Stapler

Directions

Toss the popcorn with the olive oil, salt, and chile powder in the paper bag. Fold the top of the bag over and staple the bag twice to close. Place the bag in the microwave and microwave on high for 2 minutes to 3 minutes, or until there are about 5 seconds between pops.

NOTE: Popcorn salt is a super-fine salt that is designed especially for sticking to food such as popcorn. It has the taste of regular table salt, but its granules are much finer. The staples will not pose a problem in the microwave.

"Great recipe and deserves 5 stars! If you change the recipe, post a new recipe; do not rate this recipe based on the changes you made. People on all recipe sites need to rate recipes simply on following the recipe as written, not the changes they have made." - donna1596

"Good but I think these buffalo chicken breasts are better grilled - slightly brown on each side and then baste generously with sauce turning once or twice until cooked through. But, this is a good substitute for nights when firing up the grill would not be optimal. Made several tweaks. Also recommend keeping some sauce on the side for dipping." - mrsoul51
