Ingredients

1 Thbs nutritional yeast flakes {optional} -- (1 to 2)

1 Thbs honey {the darker the better} -- (1 to 2)

1 Thbs mustard -- (1 to 2)

1 tsp rice vinegar

Habanero Hot sauce or minced habanero to taste

Directions

Mix everything. Basically, that's it. The quality lies in the ingredients. The yeast, as odd as it may sound, adds a subtle smoothness and rounds out any sharpness in the other ingredients. This is NOT the same as yeast you'd use in bread. It is a dead form, found in yellow flakes or powders, sold most often in health or natural foods stores. It's especially good for vegans as it's one of the richest sources of B vitamins {including B12} in the world. If you think it sounds too weird, though, leave it out.

My mustard of choice is an organic Dijon that I found at the local Albertson's. Really, it's just whatever you like. However, I *will* add that Coleman's {killer} English mustard is far from objectionable. :) My hab sauce of choice is Melinda's Special Reserve, but as I have yet to find some more here I'm stuck with Yuccy-tan.

"I've made this twice. Used Franks, a bit of Worcester and some red wine vinegar. Only 3 breasts, as this is for 2! Add a side of Mrs. Tt's Pierogies and a salad ... Great Meal! Will make again and may also change the ingredients! I love experimenting with flavors." - kim s.

"I made this for New Year's Eve. Followed the recipe exactly & it came out just like the photo-but I was a bit disappointed with it. Some guests enjoyed it, some I think didn't as they didn't go back for seconds. Husband commented yuck. I wasn't a big fan either, would rate it as just okay, not worth the effort. I'll be going back to the normal cob loaf dips, much prefer those. Won't make this again." - sherri3802

"I love this chocolate cake, it is excellent. I've made it several times and every time it is moist with a beautiful flavour. Made it again today for afternoon tea and everyone loved it. I served it with whipped cream and strawberries. This recipe is a definite keeper and I will be making it for years to come. Thank you for sharing such a great recipe." - dianney
