"OMG...this is the best sauce I've tasted. Always get compliments every time I make it. I didn't add the wine but it is still fantastic. You will never go wrong making this sauce when you entertain. Thank you for sharing this wonderful recipe with us." - elainac67

"Very tasty, I did half the seasonings because we only had about a 2 -2.5 lb elk roast for my husband and I. Very tender and juicy, I always love the veggie flavors! I loved how the drippings were already made into a gravy. Great for Sunday dinners!" - simplydelicious

"I followed the recipe exactly-once for Christmas Day, the next time for New year's Eve. Both times it was a big hit, with people asking how I made it. I added some frozen fruit icecubes & I made sure the Golden Circle fruit juice packs & soft drink bottles were in the freezer for a while before I made them, so that they were-not frozen of course-but icy cold. There were a few slivers of ice in the fruit juice actually. Very easy to make, liked by just about everyone. Good recipe to have." - sherri3802

"Easy to make but unfortunately we didn't like the flavors in this recipe. I won't be making again." - lomle

"I made this for New Year's Eve. Followed the recipe exactly & it came out just like the photo-but I was a bit disappointed with it. Some guests enjoyed it, some I think didn't as they didn't go back for seconds. Husband commented yuck. I wasn't a big fan either, would rate it as just okay, not worth the effort. I'll be going back to the normal cob loaf dips, much prefer those. Won't make this again." - sherri3802
