Moroccan Nectarine and Plum Chicken Tagine
July 30, 2014
Tagine dishes get their name from the pottery dish with a cone-shaped lid in which they are slowed cooked to perfection. I have tried a number of Tagine dishes while in Marrakech, Morocco. They run from savory to sweet with the addition of dried fruit and honey.
A very simple dinner menu that served 6 guests in a self-serv setting.
Every meal in Morocco, no matter what part of the country you're in, starts the same way - mint tea! There's no real recipe for it - just hot water and fresh mint leaves! It's refreshing and clears your palate.
