Roasted Red Pepper Spread #2
- 1 small clove garlic, peeled
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 1 (12-ounce) jar roasted red peppers, drained
- 1/2 cup walnuts
- 1 Pinch cayenne pepper
To prepare cut the garlic clove in half; if there is a green sprout in the center, remove it. Mash the garlic with the salt. (This tempers the raw garlic taste.)
Place the roasted peppers in a food processor or blender. Add the garlic, walnuts, and cayenne pepper, and process until creamy.
