Habanero Hot Black Currant Wings (Hotchili-mikes)
- 1 kg Chicken wings
Marinade:
- 3 dl Back currant syrup
- 1 ,5 dl Cider vinegar
- 1 dl Oil
- 3/4 dl Soy sauce (Kikkoman or other Japanese)
- 3 Tbsp Thyme, fresh (or substitute with 1 1/2 Tbsp dry thyme)
- 1 tsp Habanero - fresh, pureed
Mix the marinade and cover the wings with marinade.
Marinate the wings for 6 - 12 hours.
Grill the wings until the skin gets crispy but not burnt.
Enjoy with or without your favorite dip.
Freeze leftover marinade an use later for another batch of wings.
