Site Overview Analysis

As its name implies, the Site Overview offers us a look at most of the basic information for measuring a web site's traffic. We typically run this report to show not only information on "all visitors", but also on those that inquire or purchase.

The Site Overview Report includes (for specified time period):

• Number of visitors.
• Average time on site.
• Page views per visitor.
• Top search keywords.
• Top referrers.
• Top pages visited.
• Top entry pages.
• Top exit pages.
• Geographical breakdown.

One of the most important aspects of this report is the Top Referrers section that will allow you to measure the number of visitors you get from each source. This can be very important in gauging the cost effectiveness of your advertising in online directories like the Thomas Register or other forms of online advertising.
