Turn the
printer off, unplug it, and allow it to sit for 30 minutes
before performing these maintenance procedures.
How to replace the transfer roller assembly
- Open the front door of the printer
and rotate the large green lever downward.
- Pinch the blue tab on the transfer
roller assembly and pull it out of the printer. Observe how
it is installed before removing it.
- Reinstall the new transfer roller without touching
the black foam roller. Skin oil can contaminate the roller.
The new assembly should lock into place when installed
correctly.

handling the new transfer roller.

How to replace the tray rollers
- Remove Trays 2 and 3 to access the rollers. There
are three rollers per Tray, one pickup and two feed
rollers.
- The rollers come off by squeezing the tab on the
end of each roller. Replace each roller one at a time.
- Open Tray 4 all the way (if
equipped) and remove all the paper from the tray. Then gently remove the tray.
Replace the rollers the same as Trays 2 and 3.
How to replace the Fuser
WARNING: Be sure the printer has
been turned off and unplugged for at least 30 minutes before
attempting to remove the fuser. The Fuser may be very
hot.

Device (HCO), pull it away from the printer far enough to
allow the left door to be fully opened. Then open the
left door.
- Remove the Duplexer (if equipped) by pushing
downward on the green tab and slide the duplexer out.
- Rotate the small blue levers on each side of the
fuser toward the center to unlock the fuser.
- Lift up on the finger handle slightly and pull it
away from the printer until it stops.
- Grab the blue handle on the top of the fuser and
lift up on the fuser to remove it. Use the finger handle as
well to prevent the fuser from being dropped.
- Before reinstalling the new fuser, remove any
orange packing material.

it into place with the small blue levers.
