Email Marketing Specialist

Prime Visibility has an immediate opening for an experienced Email Marketing Specialist to develop, coordinate and manage email campaigns for our customer acquisition, communication, retention and repeat sales efforts. This position entails developing and implementing email marketing campaigns, managing our CRM vendor relationship, and leading the web-based aspects of our customer communication and retention efforts. This position will report directly to the Director of Marketing.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Execute email campaigns, including database segmentation, list management, campaign setup, testing and deployment. Use email campaign software to create emails and manage the QA/testing process.
  • Work with multiple vendors to develop email positioning, copy, creative, and code. Draft email copy for editing by external vendor prior to release. Optimize the design, content, targeting & messaging of email communications. Assess all email creative to ensure communications are consistent with our unified marketing voice across all channels.
  • Maintain marketing communications production schedule to ensure accurate and timely delivery.
  • Monitor campaign results and provide reports on email performance to the marketing team on a regular basis.
  • Maintain awareness of email marketing trends and technologies and make recommendations on email optimization tactics and best practices.
  • Ensure compliance around permission-based marketing, privacy, spam regulation (CAN/SPAM) and deliverability.
  • Gain an understanding of internal data structures for data segmentation and analysis and a technical knowledge of internal infrastructure to deliver necessary enhancement requests.
  • Evaluate evolving technological needs to support a robust e-mail program.
  • Manage web aspects of our customer portal, customer communications and ongoing retention and upsell efforts.
  • Support rest of staff in coordinated efforts to develop and introduce new products and services.
  • Assist in the development of the overall marketing plan.
  • Build effective working relationships with others inside and outside the organization.

Job Requirements:

  • 1~2 years experience developing and managing marketing email communications.
  • Experience in copywriting for email and the web.
  • Intermediate proficiency in HTML coding.
  • Proficient in Excel, Word
  • Strong interpersonal skills with focus on teamwork. At the same time, must be a self-starter who has ability to work independently.
  • Excellent multi-tasking and organizational skills with the ability to perform under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills along with solid problem solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail balanced by ability to see big picture.
