Curts Stuffed Peppers
- Stuffing peppers
- cream cheese
- won ton wrappers
- milk
- egg
- bread crumbs
- oil for frying
I too had difficulty getting batter to stick to peppers, so I took the time-honored tradition of doing something
completely different! Core the peppers, steam them until just done (al dente). Stuff with cream cheese, wrap in
a wonton skin and fry... After wrapping them, you could then dip them in a milk & egg wash and roll them in
bread crumbs. These freeze well also.
